Hatice Özdemir Ermiş set out with the ambition of turning the visual memories, rich imagination and ideas she had accumulated in the fashion industry, where she worked for years, into products that her customers could touch by hand. While establishing his brand S’Espalmador, he took a step on a brand new path by continuing his artistic talent inherited from his family. He is one of the lucky names who saw fashion as a way of expressing himself from his early ages and realized that this sector was a suitable career for him… His ability to have the infrastructure to express his ideas in the design dimension is based on 15 years of experience.
OUR DESIGN PROCESS
Every reality begins with a simple act of dreaming. During the design process where we dreamed of new possibilities, we wrapped the friendly Mediterranean beauty we were inspired by in striking silhouettes. In doing this, we paved the way for the clothes that we see as an extension of our self and almost as our armor, to go beyond just looking nice and stylish and enable the person to assert his/her claim and decide how to present himself/herself to the world.
The collection is crafted with the codes we placed in the heart of S’Espalmador. Striking colors, unpredictable details, unique details, forms that are daring and do not hesitate to be avant-garde when necessary… A playful attitude that allows the wearer to add his own interpretation with chain details… In this first collection we want to blur the boundaries of maximalism and minimalism; Neon colors, one of the pioneers of the maximalist style with their eye-catching tones, took on a minimalist atmosphere in our designs. At this point, we promised to present a harmony of opposites with neon orange and pink, which constitute the majority of our looks, reminding us that life actually begins at the intersection of opposites.
Another element that we placed high among our goals while developing the collection was originality. As S’Espalmador, with its seductive and original line, we offered our women the opportunity to stand out from the crowd by distinguishing themselves from the ordinary. Because S’Espalmador women see their clothes as an extension of their fun and lively lifestyle and look for a difference and humor in design. The S’Espalmador woman lives life the way she believes; fun, feminine, outgoing, daring, elegant, unique, striking, confident, independent and full of surprises. It has a high elegance that can reveal the claim in even the simple ones. Our woman, who experiences her emotions sincerely and deeply, enjoys building her own feminine utopia; Because she knows very well that the current concept of femininity is about being able to dress uniquely, having the courage to break taboos and a self-confident stance.

Another of the most important elements that we consider as the main gear of our mechanism in our design process, where we glorify originality, is our understanding of “uncompromising quality”. In all our products, the quality of materials and workmanship, timeless silhouettes and functionality are at the forefront. We want to extend the life cycles of products by designing timeless products by keeping product quality high in all details. We aim to be a brand that produces seasonless pieces and establishes long-term and well-established relationships with its women, instead of the fashion approach that encourages the pursuit of the newest and constant consumption every season. We place the greatest emphasis on this goal by designing models whose models can be changed through experimental transitions. We know that it is the responsibility of each individual to create a production-consumption cycle in which quality prevails over quantity. And now sustainability has turned into a serious responsibility rather than a choice.
